Class meets weekly for 2 hours in the Temecula studio
March 6, 13, 20, April 3, 10, 17
Prerequisites: none
This 6-week workshop introduces the fundamental concepts of drawing in graphite and charcoal. Students learn how to see through the eyes of an artist, and how to render their impressions onto paper. Each week explores a new topic, and students choose their own subject matter to practice it. You will not be taught ‘what to draw’, but ‘how to draw’, with guidance and encouragement at each step.
Price includes 6 weeks of classes and all materials, but students are welcome to bring personal supplies such as brushes and oil colors. Experienced students may skip prerequisites upon approval.
